Happy 145 Canuckistan!!
In honour (notice the "U") of Canada's 145th, I thought it fitting to regale you with some of the Northern Territories finest musicians. Please enjoy my little Canuck gift, and may all of you celebrate this great land of ours today and every day.
We were introduced to them last year and saw them a few times during the summer. I was hooked. Try more. They are worth the effort. Great Big Sea is one of my all-time favourite Canadian bands. The Gaelic influence permeates much of their music.
Congratulations, you introduced me to a country song I liked (New Country Rehab). I shall try some more.
ReplyDeleteAlso, Great Big Sea reminds me of Gaelic Storm in energy and style...at least the one song here does.
